Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos said the cases will include the Master Trail Plan, the River's <br />Bend Playground Project, and possibly the River's Bend irrigation project. The Elmcrest Park <br />development project includes approval of the budget and releasing of the Capital Improvement <br />monies; the Greenway Project; and the Central Park Entrance. <br /> <br />The meeting is at 5:00 or 5:30 p.m. (this will be checked on) and an hour will be afforded for <br />these issues. If the Finance Committee cannot get to these items, the Council could discuss them <br />later in the meeting. <br /> <br />Chairperson Cook and Commissioner Olds will attend. Commissioner Johns stated she may be <br />able to attend. Commissioner Ostrum will not be able to attend. <br /> <br />Case #6 <br /> <br />Review Lawful Gambling Fund Improvement Program <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated that the Commission had asked that the Lawful Gambling <br />Improvement Fund be evaluated for currency and ease of use for the public. <br /> <br />Commissioner Ostrum asked if the document should be updated to change the hourly rate from <br />$7 per hour. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos responded that this may still be the volunteer rate that is <br />recognized by the DNR. <br /> <br />Chairperson Cook didn't see a need for updating the document other than updating information <br />on the commissioners. <br /> <br />Commissioner Olds noted that page 3 has a reference to a date. <br /> <br />Commissioner Ostrum agreed that the dates should be updated throughout the document. <br /> <br />COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />Note: Planning Commission Regular Meeting Date Changeto the First Thursday of <br />the Month <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos noted that because of this change in date, the Commission may <br />see less detail from the Planning Commission's action. There is less time to produce an agenda <br />between the Planning Commission meeting and the Park and Recreation Meeting. <br /> <br />· Note: Adopted Rates and Charges for 2002 <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated these new rates were mentioned in Case #3.
