PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUS~SIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA ODUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />~%e Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 10, <br />1988 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br />Counciln~mber Steve DeLuca <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the regular City Council meeting to order at 8:04 p.m. <br />and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Terry DeGideo - 17331 Chameleon - Stated that the 30 mph speed limit in his <br />neighborhood is not sufficiently posted as vehicles are ignoring it. The <br />park nearby was previously posted for 'Slow, children at play'; requesting <br />that sign be replaced. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann replied that the Police Department would research Mr. <br />DeGideo's complaint and report back to City Council and respond to Mr. <br />DeGideo in writing. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />approve the agenda with the following additions: <br /> <br />Case #17: Authorize execution of Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka <br /> County for recycling gr~nts. <br /> <br />C~se #18: Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. report on Keep America <br /> Beautiful Clean-Up Day and recycling proposal. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mayor Reimann requested that Case #18 be addressed as <br />the first order of business. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Pearson and DeLuca. Voting No: None.
