Airport Zoning Board and continues to work towards implementing airport zoning, it may not jeopardize the City's standing with State requir~ents for funding. 5~yor Reimann noted that the City Attorney was to have prepared a response to comments made by Ms. Barb Graen during Citizen Input on April 26; the preparation of that response was to have been based on the minutes; the minutes were held up until a written version of the statement was received by the secretary; that written version has been received this evening. Council directed that Mr. Goodrich be given until May 24 to prepare a response to Ms. Graen's comments. Council consensus was to table any action regarding the airport zoning issue until the May 24 Council n~eting when Councilmembers Sorteberg and Cox and the City Attorney are present. Mr. Ippel stated that at the regular Airport Commission held earlier this evening, a motion was passed to recommend that City Council execute the environmental information document to the regulatory agencies, submit a pre- application to FAA for funding and submit input to ~/DOT's 5 year capital improvements program document. Mr. Ippel noted that these actions do not cormmit the city to any spending. CDuncil consensus was to take the Airport Commission's recommendation under consideration on May 24, 1988. Mro Ippel noted that Metro Council has no conflict with the document at this tim~. ADJ~ OURNMENT Motion by Commissioner Pearson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to adjourn the special City Council m~eting. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimamm. Councilmembers Pearson and DeLuca. Voting No: None. Absent: Council~mbers Sorteberg and Cox.
