Councilmember Pearson noted that $8,607 is a good price for a mower. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember $orteberg and seconded by Councilmember Cox to <br />table action on the request to purchase a mower. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Pearson stated that a mower is a good <br />piece of equipment for a City to have. Councilmember Sorteberg noted that <br />the City may be contracting out for park maintenance next year. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that he will not place the mower case on the agenda <br />again unless City Council requests it. <br /> <br />Case {}14: Receive Bids For The Central Park Warmin_~ House Improvement <br /> Project #88-16: <br /> <br />Merland Otto reported that the City received bids for the Central Park <br />warming house; it is recommended that the City negotiate with the general <br />contractor awarded the contract for a reduction in the mechanical/ <br />electrical portion of the contract while maintaining the building's vandal <br />proof integrity. <br /> <br />Motion by Gouncilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to adopt <br />Resolution #88-116 accepting bids for the Central Park Warming House and <br />awarding a contract to Cottonwood Construction, Inc. for such improvement. <br />(Refer to resolution file for Resolution #88-116). <br /> <br />Motion carried.
