Voting No: None. <br /> <br />C~se #18: Request For Funding For Mediation Services For Anoka County <br /> For 1988 And 1989: <br /> <br />Motion by Coun¢ilmember DeLuca and seconded by Mayor Reimann to approve <br />funding for Mediation Services for Anoka County for 1988 and 1989 in the <br />amount of $569 per year. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #19~ Additional Endorsements To City Liability Insurance; <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann stated that the City Administrator has recommended that the <br />City purchase pollution coverage and inverse condemnation coverage. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />approve the purchase of pollution coverage at $672.00/year and inverse <br />condemnation coverage for $480.00/year from the League of Minnesota Cities <br />Insurance Trust. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #15: Receive Bids For The 1988 Saalcoating Improvement Project; <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich noted that earlier this evening, Council awarded the contract <br />for 1988 ~ealcoating projects to Astech Corporation. It has been brought <br />to the City's attention that Astech does not pay prevailing wages according <br />to State law. <br /> <br />Mr. Otto explained that Variolite and 155th Avenue are State Aid streets <br />and anytime State funds are involved, the contractor is required to pay the <br />prevailing wage rates.
