Sue Springer - 8872 175th - Stated that her and her husband built several homes in Countryside Estates and told buyers there would be a park; now this will not be so; if Outlot B cannot be a park, there should be another park in the neighborhood. Kevin Brand - Stated that he called City Hall as soon as excavation started and asked how a home could be built when he wasn't allowed to 1-1/2 years ago; the reply was that the north half of the lot was buildable and the south half was not. Stated that the contractor building his neighbor's home had also inquired about the lot at City Hall and was told it was an outlot. Stated that this is the first time he and his wife have ever been to a City Council meeting; he is new to the area and the only reason he caught the error is because he was previously interested in the lot. Mr. Brand stated he is really upset because he has been double-talked for two years and he lost because he built two lots away from what he thought was to be a park. Becky' Thatcher - Inquired where the money from the sale of the lot is if the City owns the lot. Mayor Reimann replied that somebody sold the public's lot. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to adjourn the public hearing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None.
