As a
result of that, some preliminary cost estimates indicate that an irrigation
system could be installed at River's Bend Park for approximately $18,000-
$20,000.

Councilmembers Sorteberg and Pearson noted that the soil type at River's
Bend Park would not require irrigation during a normal growing season.

Councilmember Sorteberg requested that City Staff prepare a report
indicating all current park improvements and funding sources.

Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Pearson
denying the installation of an irrigation system at River's Bend Park.

Motion carried.
