Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that there is a joint meeting between City Council and <br />the Planning and Zoning Commission to discuss rural density issues with <br />representatives of Metro Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that there is a vacancy on the City Council and he will <br />receive written applications until August 19, 1988. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann adjourned the regular meeting at 7:36 p.m. in order to <br />conduct the following public hearing: <br /> <br />Improvement Project #88-19; 156th Avenue N.W. between County Road No. <br />56 and High Point Addition and Hematite Street N.W. between 156th <br />Avenue N.W. and Beaudry's Second Addition. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the regular Council meeting back to order at 8:18 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />C~se #1' Arrigoni Charitable Gamblin~ License/Charitable Gamblin~ <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann noted that the City Attorney has researched state statutes <br />and recommends reconsideration of Arrigoni's request for a charitable <br />gambling license. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />approve Arrigoni, Inc.'s request for renewal of charitable gambling license <br />at J.R.'s Saloon. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Request For Metes And Bounds Subdivision; Ca. se Of Ms. Kris <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Ms. Fluegel is requesting a metes and bounds <br />subdivision in order to accommodate a structure which encroaches on the <br />southeast property line at 14640 St. Francis Blvd. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />approve Ms. Fluegel's request for a metes and bounds subdivision. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
