~e_~ar4in~ use of snowmobile~. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Bawden to <br />table action on the proposed amendment to the snowmobile ordinance. <br /> <br />Further discussion: City Council directed City Attorney Goodrich to meet <br />with the snowmobile club to obtain their input on the proposed ordinance. <br />Council also directed that the proposed ordinance be brought back to them <br />for consideration at the regular meeting scheduled for the fourth Tuesday <br />in October. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca, Pearson and Bawden. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Council recessed at 10:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the regular meeting back to order at 10:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Pilot residential woodchippiny pro,ram. <br /> <br />Mr. Otto Stated that the 1988 landfill abatement program includes a brush <br />and waste wood reduction component. The Landfill Commission, through a <br />survey in the Ramsey Resident has received responses from 21 residents, <br />distributed through out the City who have indicated a desire to participate <br />in a pilot program. <br /> <br />Mr. Otto stated that three quotes have been received for contract services <br />for a woodchipping program. The low bidder is Gorecki and Company. The <br />Landfill Commission is recommending that City Council approve entering into <br />an agreement with Gorecki and Company to provide the woodchipping program <br />at a cost not to exceed $3,000.00. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Bawden to <br />adopt resolution #88-1~ awarding a contract to Gorecki and Company for <br />contract services for the woodchipping program at a cost not to exceed <br />$3,000.00. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca, Pearson and Bawden. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6; <br /> <br />Adopt ordinance amendin~ Section 130.10.2 Qf ~h¢ City <br /> Code increasiny the landfill tipping fee. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that State Law has allowed for increasing landfill <br />tipping fees. City Council introduced an ordinance to increase the <br />landfill tipping fee at their August 23rd meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Bawden to <br />adopt ordinance #88-13 increasing the landfill tipping fee. <br /> <br />Mtion carried.
