PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, September <br />20, 1988 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Steve DeLuca <br />Councilmember David Bawden <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />Finance Officer Sandra Ashley <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the special City Council meeting to order at 7:38 p.m. <br />and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Matt Cosale - 14379 Waco Street N.W. - Mr. Cosale presented a petition <br />signed by residents of River's Bend. The petition stated their request for <br />City Council to allocate funds in the 1989 park budget for playground <br />equipment for a tot park at River's Bend Park. <br /> <br />City Council received the petition. <br /> <br />A~FROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Bawden to <br />approve the agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Bawden, Pearson and DeLuca. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />¢OUN¢I~ BUS~Ess <br /> <br />Reauest For Conditional Use Permit For Advertisin~ Si:n: <br /> Case Of Mr. John Noard: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that Mr. John Noard is requesting a conditional use <br />permit to have an advertising sign at his new facility at 6760 Hwy. #10 <br />N.W. Mr. Noard currently has a business identification sign erected at <br />this property and is requesting a conditional use permit for an additional <br />200 square feet of advertising space to note the brands of recreational <br />equipment he carries. City Code states that advertising signs may be up to <br />300 square feet in size and business identification signs are not to exceed <br />City Council/September 20, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 2 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
