Commission Business <br /> Commissioner Brauer believed the numbers were wrong and wanted to see the City question the <br /> Metropolitan Council before accepting the forecasts. However, in the end it was a political <br /> decision that would be determined by the City Council. <br /> Community Development Director Gladhill stated there were market fluctuations and the City <br /> has questioned the forecasts from 2030 and 2040. The City does not feel there was sufficient <br /> capacity to meet the growing needs of the City of Ramsey going into the future without added <br /> capacity in the regional system plans. <br /> Motion by Chairperson Levine, seconded by Commissioner VanScoy, to recommend that City <br /> Council approve the draft response to the 2020 and 2030 forecasts, with stronger language at the <br /> 2020 level. <br /> Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners VanScoy, Bauer, Brauer, <br /> Maul, and Nosan. Voting No: None.
