CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Wednesday, October <br />26, 1988 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Steve DeLuca <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember David Bawden <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Acting Zoning Administrator Merland Otto <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the special Council meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. and <br />led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEn I~PUT <br /> <br />Thomas Williams - 5180 157th Lane - Stated that he would like to see <br />Council agendas changed to have Citizen Input conducted after Council notes <br />changes to the agenda but before final approval of the agenda. Mr. <br />Williams' explained that during Approval of Agenda on October 25, he wanted <br />to protest delaying action on Waste Management's request for a conditional <br />use permit but Citizen Input had already been handled. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann suggested that citizens not rely on the agenda and make their <br />comments during Citizen Input. <br /> <br />Councilmember DeLuca noted that procedurally, Citizen Input is conducted <br />before Approval of Agenda to allow for adding cases to the agenda that are <br />brought to Council's attention during Citizen Input. <br /> <br />APpROV~ OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Bawden to <br />approve the agenda with the following addition: <br /> <br />Case #2: Authorize advertising for bids for grass rig. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca, Pearson and Bawden.
