Council consensus was to amend Item #71 of the proposed findings of fact to <br />read as follows: <br /> <br />71. <br /> <br />That the engineer's review letter of 914/88 indicates that no <br />determination of adequacy has been made on MC's draft EIS <br />document for the vertical expansion. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Bawden and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />adopt Findings of Fact #0237, as amended, relating to Waste Management of <br />Minnesota,' Inc.'s request for a conditional use permit. Further, to direct <br />that the Conclusion statement to those findings read as follows: <br /> <br />'On the basis of the foregoing Findings, the City Council concludes <br />that the proposed use does comply with the requirements of the City <br />Code Section 170.013D and accordingly approves the application for a <br />Conditional Use Permit by Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. This <br />approval is contingent upon a finding by the Metro Council that the <br />Envir, Onmental Impact Statement is adequate and subsequent approval of <br />all other review agencies.' <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca, Pearson and Bawden. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by 'Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Bawden to <br />approve Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc.'s request for a conditional use <br />permit, as amended. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Schedule continuation meeting - <br /> <br />Council consensus was that this November 15, 1988 Council meeting will be <br />continued ~to November 16, 1988 to complete any unfinished agenda business. <br /> <br />Funding For Northern Mayor's Association (Continued): <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />adopt Resolution #88-216 to appropriate $5,900 for funding of the Economic <br />Development and Transportation efforts of the Northern Mayor's Association. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
