Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Pearson and Bawden. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember DeLuca. <br /> <br />Case #6: Sale Of Commuter Equipment: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that the City owns a disk and tape drive unit which is <br />not essential to the new computer system and he is recommending declaration <br />of it as surplus and approving sale of it to the City of Champlin. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Bawden and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />adopt Resolution #88-233 designating certain computer equipment as surplus <br />and approving of sale. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Pearson amd Bawden. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember DeLuca. <br /> <br />MA~OR/~OUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />b) Status of Mississippi River bridge crossings - <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann stated that Mississippi River bridge crossings were discussed <br />at the November 29, 1988 meeting of the Northern Mayor's Association. It <br />appears that plans are still in place to rebuild the Champlin bridge; <br />Ramsey will be sending a letter to the study group requesting that a <br />Ramsey/Dayton crossing remain in the 10 year plan. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS (CONTINUED): <br /> <br />Case ~7: Time Extension For Recordin~ Meadowbrook Addition: <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart recalled that in January, 1987, Council adopted Resolution #87- <br />3 granting final plat approval to Meadowbrook Addition. Mr Petrucci has <br />requested that an extension be granted to the 120 day recording deadline <br />beginning November 29, 1988. <br /> <br />Motion by Conncilmember Bawden and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />approve Mr.. Petrucci's request to extend the 120 day recording deadline, <br />beginning November 29, 1988, for Meadowbrook Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Pearson and Bawden. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember DeLuca. <br /> <br />Case #5: .Local Cable TV Pro_~rammin_~: <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann stated that the Quad Cities Cable Communications Commission <br />has assumed the community television programming responsibilities from <br />Cable T.V. North Central. This action will give communities more <br />opportunity and control over local programming. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adopt <br /> City Council/November 29, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 7 of 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
