Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-04- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM R-1 RURAL RESIDENTIAL TO R-1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That K.C. Land Company, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," has properly applied to <br /> rezone certain property from R-1 Rural Residential to R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of the <br />City Code on April 1, 1997, and said public heating was properly advertised, and the minutes <br />of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Outlots A and B, Alpine Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />4. That the total area of the property to be rezoned is approximately twenty-one (21) acres in <br /> size. <br /> <br />That the subject property is located in the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA) by a <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment approved in i995 and is currently zoned R-1 Rural <br />Residential. <br /> <br />6. That the adjacent property to the north is not in the MUSA and is zoned R-1 Rural <br /> Residential. The property on the south side of 153rd Avenue NW is a park. <br /> <br />7. That the Applicant is proposing to develop the plat with single family urban residential lots. <br /> <br />That Section 9.20.03 of the Ramsey City Code states that the intent of the R-1 Rural <br />Residential :District is to accommodate single-family dwelling units on land outside the <br />Urban Service Area. <br /> <br />That Section 9.20.03 of the Ramsey City Code states that the intent of the R-1 Urban <br />Residential District is to accommodate single-family dwelling units on land in the Urban <br />Service Area. <br /> <br /> <br />
