LAW OFFICES 2140 4TH RUE a 612 42? 5545 NO,091 Pi6 <br /> <br />Separation Distances. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />The separation distance from a well to an ISTS <br />shall be as specified in M.S. 301i, MN RULES <br />Chapter 4925, as amended. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />The separation distances from ISTS to <br />designated lakes and rivers shall be as <br />identified in the Ramsey City Zoning Chapter <br />of the City Code. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />The separation distance from an ISTS to a Type <br />3, 4, $ or 6 wetland shall be seventy five <br />(75) feet. <br /> <br />Alternative and Experimental Systems. This <br />subdivision hereby adopts by reference MN RULES <br />Chapter 7080.0910, Alternative and Experimental <br />Systems. <br /> <br />Alternative systems are allowed only in areas <br />where a standard system cannot be installed or <br />is not the most suitable treatment. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Experimental systems may be used in areas <br />where a standard system cannot be installed or <br />if a system is considered new technology with <br />limited data on reliability. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />Standards for alternative systems are <br />specified in MN RULES Chapter 7080.0910 subp. <br />3 for the following conditions: <br /> <br />(1) Slow permeable soils <br />(2) Rapidly permeable soils <br />(3) Artificial Drainage <br />(4) Floodplain areas <br />(5) Greywater systems <br />(6) Privies <br />(7) Existing dwellings on small lots <br />(8) Collector systems <br />(9) Holding tanks <br /> <br />(d) <br /> <br />Standards for experimental systems are <br />specified ~n MN RULES Chapter 7080.0910 subp <br />3a. <br /> <br />(e) <br /> <br />Any required monitoring plan for an <br />alternative or experimental ISTS is the <br />responsibility of the ISTS Designer.
