RB CASE <br /> <br />~PDATE ON ANOKA COUNTY 2015 TRANSPORTATION PLAN <br /> By: Steve Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Anoka CountY is in the process of updating its Comprehensive Transportation Plan. A single <br />copy was m~e available to the City of Ramsey, and the Road and Bridge Committee reviewed <br />the major elements affecting the City at its December 16, 1997 meeting. Direction was made at <br />that meeting!,ito submit a written response to the County with regard to three specific issues. <br />Attached isthe response letter which I prepared at the Committee's direction. <br /> <br />Also the Committee requested a meeting with Anoka County to discuss some of these issues, <br />particularly ~e proposal to upgrade Highway #10 to a four-lane fi'eeway east of Armstrong <br />Boulevard. I,ve discussed possible dates for such a meeting with County Engineer Jon Olson. <br />The last twO,weeks of January did not appear favorable.
