REQUEST FOR QUOTATION Dear LandscaPe Professional: The purpose/of this correspondence is to request a written quotation for our Public Works Landscape P~oject. Proposers must bid on and be responsible for the completion of the entire project. 24" ~ 32" plan sheets are available for $10 a set (2 sheets), at City Hall, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, MN 55303. In order to be eligible for the project your quotation must be received by December , 1997. The success~l cOntractor will be required to provide documentation of insurance (including workers coml~ensation). Proposers for: this project should know that funding for this landscape project is not guaranteed, or the scope may be reduced at the discretion of City Council. Interested c°~itractors may wish to ensure plant availability pursuant to the attached two lists, as substitutions ~aynot be allowed. If allowed, substitutions must be minimal, native to the Anoka Sand Plain a~d detailed with both the common and scientific name. The following are additional consideratiOn~ and clarification to guide your proposal. Any deviation in specifications will need to be well documented on the bid sheet. Trees: Minimum of 1" caliper (except Oaks), quantity - 91, guaranteed for one year from planting date. , Shrubs: Minimum height 24", quantity - 61, guaranteed for one year from planting date. · Perennials: Minimum 4" pot size, quantity - 750, (675 must be vigorously growing one year from planiing :date). Mulch: HardWood chips applied to minimum depth of 3" over all perennial beds · Edging: ~440' of high quality edging to surround all perennial beds. · Aggregates: 40-50 cubic yards installed in a narrow band pursuant to plan · Fabric: Sufficient square footage to accommodate the above rock band.
