§ 2.04 Park and Recreation Commission <br /> <br /> SubcL 6. Commissioners may resign voluntarily or may be removed <br />from office by a major/ty vote of the City Council. Three consecutive unexcused <br />absences from du~y called commission meetings shall constitute automatic <br />resignation from office, Vacancies in the commission are to be filled by City <br />Council appointment with a majority vote. <br /> <br />Subd. 7. Commissioners shall serve without compensation. <br /> <br />2.04.08 Rules and Procedures. The commission shall adopt such rules and <br />procedures not inconsistent with these provisions as may be necessary for the <br />proper execution and conduct of business. <br /> <br />2.04.09 Meetings. Reg~ar meetings shall be held at least once a month with <br />date and time determined by the commission. Special meetings may be called by <br />the chairman. All meetings shall be public meetings and open to the public. <br /> <br />2.04.10 Ex-officio Members. The mayor may appoint a council member of city <br />staff person as an ex-officio member of the commission privileged to speak on any <br />matter without a vote, and the ex-officio member shall provide a liaison between the <br />commission and city council. <br /> <br />~qiutoriea~ Note <br /> <br />Established by Ord. 77-3, February 28, 1977. <br /> <br />2.05.
