DISCUSS LCMR FUNDING <br />by: Mark Boos, Parks/Utilities Coordinator <br /> <br />Case #2 <br /> <br />City Staff will be submitting several park-related proposals for LCMR funding. Deadline <br />for submission is February 7, 1992; total amount available is $29 million. The Legislative <br />Commissj ~0n states that the dollars will be directed for new, innovative or accelerative <br />natural res0urce projects. As of this writing, Staff intends to direct the proposals in at least <br />three area~ development of parkland east of Lake Itasca (including Whispering Pines <br />Park),. Lan~fll property and. Central Park.
