Sunwood Village by CommondBond Communities Receives Multiple Funding Approvals; Site Plan Review Expected in January The City's Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) previously entered into a Purchase Agreement with CommonBond Communities for a 47-unit rental apartment development located west of the Ramsey Municipal Center on Sunwood Drive. The project was awarded Housing Tax Credits and Housing Infrastructure Bonds from the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency. In addition, the project was awarded grant funding from the Metropolitan Council's Livable Communities Program. The project is now entering the design phase. City review is expected to occur in first-quarter 2015, with construction to commence in June, 2015. The City expects to begin reviewing a Site Plan in December, with formal review with the Planning Commission and City Council as early as January, 2015. Site Plan Review is the first in a number of steps before a project will be considered and approved for construction.
