Community Development Director Gladhill answered in the affirmative. <br />Motion by Councilmember Riley, seconded by Councilmember Kuzma, to Waive the City Charter <br />Requirement that the Ordinance be read aloud and Adopt Ordinance #14-14, An Amendment to <br />Chapter 117 of the City Code, Which Chapter is Known as Zoning and Subdivisions of the City <br />Code of Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Further discussion: Mayor Strommen stated the Planning Commission did a thorough job, is <br />looking out for the best interest of the City, and wants to assure the City is not giving up on its <br />vision and goals. She stated moving forward does not foreclose going with structure parking in <br />the future but would eliminate it as a requirement. Community Development Director Gladhill <br />stated there are a number of funding opportunities and this consideration is not adjusting the <br />development plan, which serves as the vision, but tweaking the requirement to achieve <br />development. <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br />Councilmember Riley aye <br />Councilmember Tossey absent <br />Council 1,.,_ Kuzma aye <br />Councilmember Johns aye <br />Councilmember LeTourneau absent <br />Councilmember Backous nay <br />Mayor Strommen aye <br />Motion carried. <br />
