Section 26-855. Transfer. <br />No massage establishment license granted under this Article may be transferred to <br />any location other than that for which the license was granted. No massage establishment <br />license granted under this Article may be transferred to any person, partnership, <br />corporation, or organization other than that for which the license was granted. No <br />massage therapist license granted under this Article may be transferred to any other <br />individual for the provision of massage services. An individual duly licensed under this <br />article as a massage therapist may perform massage services at a location other than that <br />indicated on that individual's application for a massage therapist license under Section <br />26-852(h), if the location is another duly licensed massage establishment. <br />Section 26-856. Denial; Revocation; Suspension; Non -Renewal. <br />(a) A massage establishment license may be denied or non -renewed: <br />(1) For any of the reasons set forth in Section 26-853(a),(b), (d), or (f). <br />(2) For any violations of Sections 26-858 and 26-859. <br />(3) If the licensure or continued licensure of the massage establishment is <br />determined to be detrimental to the health, welfare, or safety of the citizens <br />of the City of Ramsey. <br />(4) If the building in which the massage establishment is, or will be, <br />located does not meet the safety and sanitary requirements of the Code of <br />the City of Ramsey, does not comply with the zoning regulations of the <br />City of Ramsey, or does not meet the building code regulations of the City <br />of Ramsey or the State of Minnesota. <br />(5) If the applicant is prohibited by federal, state, or other local law, <br />ordinance, or other regulation, from holding such a license. <br />(b) A massage establishment license shall be suspended pending notice and an <br />opportunity to be heard by the City Council as indicated in 26-838. <br />(c) A massage establishment license may be revoked: <br />(1) If the owner, manager, lessee, or any of the employees of the massage <br />establishment areconvicted of a violation of any ordinance or Minnesota <br />Statute arising within the massage establishment. <br />(2) If the continued licensure of the massage establishment is determined <br />to be detrimental to the health, welfare, or safety of the citizens of the City <br />of Ramsey. <br />(3) If any material information given on the application for the massage <br />establishment's license changes such that the license would not be granted <br />if an application were made anew. <br />10 <br />Formatted: Highlight <br />
