MATE PUNCH AND DIE C:O.

Box 728 · 6400 industry Avenue N.W ,,, Anoka MN 55303 USA

~ 612-421-0230

March 1991

RECEIVED
t'll R 2 I 1991
4 8'd .......

Dear Commission and City Council Members,

We are unable to attend the public hearing regarding the
proposed scrap aluminum processing facility but We would
like to express our concern with the current proposal.

Ramse¥ has been gradually but steadily upgrading it's codes
and e×Dectations relative to it's industrial residents.
Recent examples of the results of this ~olicy have been the
new construction or additions of the Family Fitness Center,
Parabody, Altron, Capco and Mate. All of this construction
is attractive and a credit to the community. Further~ the
extra care, planning and expense incurred in this type of
construction reflects ~he attitude and commitment of the
owners of these businesses.

We ask that you continue to pursue your current policy
allowing only first class construction o~ permanent
facilities.

We believe that the new direction that Ramsey has taken in
the industrial area is sound. The new buildings are
attractive and permanent and toe grounds are landscaped and
maintained. These requirements are expensive but can serve
to attract other businesses which are well run, profitable
and an asset to the community.

Sincerely

/

Jack Schneider
Vice-President
Mate Punch & Die co.
