4. MAYOR / COUNCIL / STAFF INPUT <br />Armstrong Boulevard Signage <br />Councilmember Riley stated the Council had discussed placing a sign on the former Wiser <br />Choice property advertising the future road project. <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated there is a sign on the property but it is not lit or very noticeable. <br />Councilmember Johns suggested re- lettering the pylon sign to advertise the project so it is more <br />visible. <br />Street Plowing <br />Councilmember Kuzma passed on a constituent comment thanking the Parks Department for <br />quickly plowing the trails. <br />Parks and Assistant Public Works Superintendent Riverblood stated Monday's snow event was <br />significant, then it got icy, there was also wind, and snowfall over a National holiday so the work <br />was bisected into two plowing events. Today, Public Works worked on cul -de -sac routes and <br />were encouraged to be careful to not damage turf. <br />Holiday Exchange <br />Mayor Strommen stated last year the Council baked items for an exchange and asked if the <br />Council supported that event in 2014. <br />The consensus of the Council was to ask staff to schedule a date for a baked goods exchange <br />5.
