Planning and <br />Zoning Commission's recommendation and Rehbein's proposal vary from what City Code <br />requires. Co{te would require that all travelled areas of the site are improved With hard surfacing <br />and concrete ~urb and gutter. <br /> <br />Mr. Knutson mas :present and inquired if the curbing the length of the driveway was for a valid <br />engineering r~ason. <br />Mr. Jankowslgi stated that the curbing strengthens the pavement, improves aesthetics and keeps the <br />traffic on the pavement. <br /> <br />Motion by ~nciimember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to approve the site plan <br />for the maint~anee facility at The Links Golf Course with hard surfacing of the driveway and off- <br />street parking;iarea~, a Class V work area, concrete curb and gutter the length of the driveway to the <br />building front, designating property line monuments on the site plan, amending the site plan to <br />reflect thatnla more than 100 feet of the driveway will drain onto 153rd Avenue N.W., and <br />increasing th~off-street parking area to 13 spaces. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Cich, Peterson, Beyer and <br />Hardin. voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Trunk Water and Sewer and Lateral Public Improvements for Cedar <br />Hills, Chestnut Hills, Windemere Woods, Wood Pond Hills, <br />Chestnut Pond and Fieischer's 2nd Additions <br /> <br />Mr. Schroedor stated the passing of the first three resolutions presented in this case states that <br />petitions for the improvements of the extension of sanitary sewer and water have been received and <br />the passage of the fourth resolution orders the public improvements. <br /> <br />Motion by COuncilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt Resolution <br />#91-07-168 r~eiVing petition for the improvement of the extension of sanitary sewer and water for <br />Chestnut Hills Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Beyer, Peterson, Cich and <br />Hardin. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by COuncilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt Resolution <br />#91-07-169 r~ceiving petition for the improvement of the extension of sanitary sewer and water for <br />Chestnut Pond Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mavor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Beyer, Peterson, Cich and <br />Hardin.
