r~quir~ments her~in se! for~. <br /> <br />9.12.07 RESIDENTIAL TYPE DISTRICTS <br /> <br />Subd. 1 <br /> <br />Area Identification Signs. One (I) sign per vehicular access to a development, <br />not to exceed thirty-two (32) square feet in area is permitted. <br /> <br />Subd. 2 <br /> <br />Temporary Signs. Banners, pennants, whirling devices, political signs, real <br />estate signs, garage sale and construction signs are permitted in accordance with <br />Section 9.12.05. <br /> <br />9.1 2.08 BUSINESS TYPE DISTRICTS <br /> <br />Subd. 1 Business Use Signs <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Wall, Canopy or Marquee Sign. Total sign area may be up to fifteen percent (15%) of the <br />front building facade. At least fifty percent (50%) of the signage area must be placed on the <br />measured wall with remaining signage area, if desired, distributed on any other wall or <br />walls. Sign height shall not exceed the top of the parapet wall or, if no parapet wall, sign <br />height shall not exceed height of eaves. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Ground Sign. There shall not be more than one ground sign for each parcel. The gross <br />surface area of a ground sign shall not exceed one hundred square feet for each exposed <br />face nor exceed an aggregate gross surface area of two hundred square feet. A ground si~ <br />ma), be located in an), required yard but shall not extend over any lot line or within fifteen <br />feet of an), point of vehicular access from a zoning lot to a public roadway. A ground sign <br />shall not project higher than twenty-five feet as measured from base of sign or ~ade of the <br />nearest adjacent roadway, whichever is lower. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />Menu Board. One on premise menu board per drive-up or walk-up lane of a drh, e-in <br />restaurant up to a maximum of thin?two (32) square feet each. Menu boards are allowed a <br />message on one side ord.',' and cannot contain an advertising message. <br /> <br />d) Directional Sigmas. <br /> <br />Directional or Instructional signs are restricted to on-site direction and <br />instruction and shall not exceed four square feet. Snch signs shall only <br />provide direction or instruct/on to guide persons to facilities intended to <br />serx, e the public. <br /> <br />Parking lot directional signs designating parking area entrances and exits are <br />limited to one sign for each entrance and/or exit and shall not exceed four <br />souare feet for each exposed face. Parking lot directional signs shall not <br />project higher than five (5) feet in height, as measured from the established <br />~ox-ade of the parking area to which such signs are accesso~'. <br /> <br />Sign Ord.
