Subd. <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />d) <br /> <br />e) <br /> <br /> 3, Parking lot insmactional signs designating the conditions of use or identify <br /> of parking areas shall not exceed 8 square feet and shall not project higher <br /> than 10 feet in height for wall signs and 7 feet in height for ground signs, as <br /> measured from the established grade of the parking ama,(s) to which such <br /> <br />Area ]~dentification: One ground sign or one wall sign may be erected for the purpose of <br />idenfi~ng a shopping center, subject to the following: <br /> <br />Groufid signs. There shall not be more than 1 ground sign to identify each shopping <br />centcr~ The gross area of the ground sign shall not exceed sixty-four (64) square feet for <br />each ¢,.xpoSed face nor an aggregate gross surface area of 128 square feet. A ground sign <br />may bi~ lOCated in any required yard but shall not extend over any lot line or within 15 feet <br />of any~point of vehicular access from a zoning lot to a public roadway. A ground sign shall <br />not project higher than 25 feet as measured from base of sign or grade of the nearest <br />adjacent roadway, whichever is lower. <br /> <br />Wall ~igns. There shall not be more than 1 wall sign to identify each shopping center. A <br />wall s~gn shall be mounted no higher than the top of the parapet wall or cave, and shall not <br />exceed 64 Square feet in area. <br /> <br />Business Directory Sign. Each shopping center ground or wall sign may include affixed <br />directly to it a directory indicating only the names of the tenants of the shopping center in <br />whichi the sign is to be located. The gross surface area of a directory sign shall not exceed <br />10 square feet for each exposed face on a wall sign nor exceed an aggregate gross surface <br />area of twenty square feet on a ground sign for each tenant located in the shopping center in <br />which"the sign is to be located. <br /> <br />A wall, canopy or marquee sign may be used to identify each occupany of a shopping <br />center~ There shall not be more than one wall, canopy or marquee sign for each principal <br />tenant or use contained in a shopping center. The gross surface area of a wail, canopy or <br />marqdee sign shall not exceed fifteen percent (15%) of the tenant's or use's proportionate <br />share of the building wail to which the sign is to be affixed. A wall sign may not project <br />more than :16 inches from the wall to which the sign is to be affixed. Sign height shall not <br />exceed the top of parapet wall or, if no parapet wall. sign height shall not exceed height of <br />eaves. <br /> <br />Directional Sigmas <br /> <br />Directional or Instructional signs are restricted to on-site direction and instruction <br />and shall not exceed four square feet. Such sig'ns shall only provide direction or <br />instruction to guide persons to facilities intended to serve the public. <br /> <br />Parking lot directional signs designating par'king area entrances and exits are limited <br />to one sign for each entrance and/or exit and shall not exceed four square feet for <br />each exposed face. Parldng lot directional signs shall not project higher than five <br />(5) feet in height, as measured from the established ~ade of the parking area to <br />which such signs are accessory. <br /> <br />Sign Ord.
