Councilmeraber introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-02-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2004-2008 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br />(CIP) <br /> <br /> WHEREAs, the Ramsey City Charter states that the City of Ramsey will adopt a <br />Capital ImproVement Program (CIP) annually; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the CIP will consists of at least five years, and will estimate the future <br />needs for the P[ublic health, safety and welfare of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the CIP shall consists of projects and facilities (capital improvements) <br />proposed to be~undcrtaken during the next five fiscal years, which is 2004-2008, with appropriate <br />supporting information as to the necessity for such improvements, cost estimates, and method of <br />financing; and ! <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a forecasting tool and not actual, <br />committed projects and expenditures. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> The City Council authorizes the adoption of the 2004-2008 Capital Improvement <br />Program (CIP). <br /> <br />The motion fo~ the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 24h day of February, 2004. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
