He asked ifa variance was needed for that. <br /> <br />Assistant comg?unity Development Director Trudgeon stated ~hat they are fine with the 25 feet, <br />and procedurally should probably do a variance. He noted that at some timethey should go back <br />and change th~ requirements so a variance is not needed every time. He Stated the issue they <br />have here is h~ving a maximum setback, which is generally not the ~ase:' He thinks it would be <br />appropriate to pro--ss a variance at the next meeting· ' <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt stated it was a similar situation,on driveway length He asked if they have a 25 <br />foot driveway tength reqmrement. <br /> <br />Assistant Com.~. Development Director Trudgeon stated there is not one in the Town Center <br />Zoning Dist~,~i~ it~is 25 feet in R-i~, :R-2 and R-3. He indicated at the December meeting <br />Staff wasidh2%ted to include findings if 'the 25-foot length was not going to be required. He <br />noted they tried to incorporate those findings :into· the resolution the City Council will adopt. <br /> <br /> / <br />Chairperson Nixt stat~! '~he would suggest for those situations that vary from the normal <br />gmdehnes tliqy[-use~ variance, or have separate standards for the Town Center. <br />Assistant Co~,ty Development Director Trudgeon indicated he believes they should set the <br />standard and pat ~ ~he Town Center reqmrements.
