2) limited to sixty-four square feet in area; <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />limited to one (1) such sign per street frontage upon which the <br />property abuts; <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />to be removed when the project is ninety-five percent (95%) <br />completed, sold or leased; <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />not to be located within one hundred (100 feet) of a pre-existing <br />residence. <br /> <br />Temporary real estate signs for the purpose of selling or leasing individual <br />lots or buildings in any district are permitted and are: <br /> <br />1) exempt from the permit and fee requirements; <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />limited to six (6) square feet in area for residential property and <br />twenty-four (24) square feet for non-residential property; <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />limited to one (1) such sign per street frontage upo which the <br />property abuts (EXCEPTION: An additional "Open House" sign <br />may be used); <br /> <br />4) to be removed within thirty (30) days following the lease or sale. <br /> <br />Subd. 6 <br /> <br />:~Portable Signs are permitted only in business and industrial type districts and are <br />:',subject to temporary permit and fee requirements. Temporary sign permits for <br />poff:able signs shall be allowed for ten (10) day periods, four (4) ~,mes a year per <br />bus,ess. Illuminated portable signs shall be of the battery-type onl3. <br /> <br />9.12.06 DISTRICT REGULATIONS <br /> <br />In addition to jthose signs permitted or required in all districts as described in Section 9.12.03 <br />(General Provlsiorls) and 9.12.05 (Temporary Signs), the following signs are permitted in each <br />specific district aiad shall be regulated as to size, location and character according to the <br />requirements herein set forth. <br /> <br />9.12.0 7 IIE$IDENTIAL TYPE DISTRICTS <br /> <br />Subd. 1 <br /> <br />.Area Identification Signs. One (I) sign per vehicular access to a development, <br />3qot to exceed thirty-two (32) square feet in area is permitted. <br /> <br />Subd. 2 <br /> <br />Bench Signs, Bench Signs are permitted only at bus stops. A permit and fee is <br />~eqUired. <br /> <br />Subd. 3 <br /> <br />Temporary Signs. Banners, pennants, whirling devices, political signs, real <br />iestate signs, garage sale and construction signs are permitted in accordance with <br />Section 9.12.05. <br /> <br />Sign Ord. Rev.
