There shall not be more than 1 ground sign to identify each shopping <br />center, iTh~ gross area of the ground sign shall not exceed sixty-four (64) square feet for <br />each ~os~ face nor an aggregate gross surface area of 128 square feet. A ground sign <br />may b,i')ocated in any required yard but shall not extend over any lot line or within 15 feet <br />of anY ] ,oint! of vehicular access from a zoning lot to a public roadway. A ground sign shall <br />not pre ject ihigher than 25 feet as measured from base of sign or grade of the nearest <br />adjacer roadway, whichever is lower. <br /> <br />Wall Signs.: There shall not be more than 1 wall sign to identify each shopping center. A <br />wall sign sllall be mounted no higher than the top of the parapet wall or cave, and shall not <br />exceed 154 square feet in area. <br /> <br />Busine s Directory Sign. Each shopping center ground or wall sign may include affixed <br />directl~ to i.t a directory indicating only the names of the tenants of the shopping center in <br />which .the s~gn is to be located. The gross surface area of a directory sign shall not exceed <br />10 squm-e f~et for each exposed face on a wall sign nor exceed an aggregate gross surface <br />area of twen. ty square feet on a ground sign for each tenant located in the shopping center in <br />which the sign is to be located. <br /> <br />A wall,i ear~opy or marquee sign may be used to identify each occupany of a shopping <br />center. :!The;re shall not be more than one wail, canopy or marquee sign for each principal <br />tenant ~Jr use contained in a shopping center. The gross surface area of a wall, canopy or <br />marque~ sign shall not exceed fifteen percent (15%) of the tenant's or use's proportionate <br />share of. theibuilding wall to which the sign is to be affixed. A wall sign may not project <br />more than 1;6 inches from the wall to which the sign is to be affixed. Sign height shall not <br />exceed ilhe iop of parapet wall or, if no parapet wall, sign height shall not exceed height of <br />eaves. <br /> <br />Directional Signs <br /> <br />Directional or Instructional signs are restricted to on-site direction and instruction <br />s d shall not exceed four square feet. Such signs shall only provide direction or <br /> traction to guide persons to facilities intended to serve the public. <br /> <br />parldng lot directional signs designating parking area entrances and exits are limited <br />to one sign for each entrance and/or exit and shall not exceed four square feet for <br />each exposed face. Parking lot directional signs shall not project higher than five <br />(5) feet in height, as measured from the established grade of the parking area to <br />which such signs are accessory. <br /> <br />parking lot instructional signs designating the conditions of use or identify of <br />parking areas shall not exceed 8 square feet and shall not project higher than 10 feet <br />in height for wall signs and 7 feet in height for ground signs, as measured from the <br />established grade of the parking area(s) to which such signs are accessory <br /> <br />Sign Ord.
