B-W Busin~ar~housing District <br /> <br />§ 9.20.24 <br /> <br />9.21.24 B-W Businesa/Warehouslng District. <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Intent: The purpose of the <br />BusinessfW ~rehousing District is to provide for the mix of typically large volumes <br />or bulk commercial goods and services, and wholesale/warehouse activities. The <br />overall cha~cter of the "B-W" District is intended to be transitional in nature, thus <br />industrial t~pel of activities allowed within this district shall be limited to those <br />which can wmPatibly exist with and be adjacent to commercial retail uses. <br /> !Subd. 2. Permitted Uses: (Subject to general requirements and <br />performance standards as specified by this Chapter.) <br /> <br /> a. Adult Uses Principal and Accessory <br /> b. Building materials sales stores. <br /> c. Cartage and express facilities. <br /> d. Governmental and public utility buildings and structures. <br /> e. Indoor commercial recreation. <br /> f. Light manufacturing. <br /> g. Motor vehicle, recreation vehicle, and implement dealerships. <br /> h. Office buildings and uses. <br /> i. Radio and television offices and stations. <br /> <br /> Transportation terminals. <br /> <br /> k. Warehousing of non-explosive material or equipment. <br /> <br /> 1. Wholesale business. <br /> Sub& 3. Accessory Uses: <br /> <br />Commercial or business buildings and structures for a use <br />accessory to the principal use but such use shall not exceed 30% of <br />the gross floor space of the principal use. <br /> <br />Off-street parking including semi-trailer trucks, as regulated and <br />required' by this Chapter. <br /> <br />Off-street loading as regalated and required by this Chapter. <br /> <br />Signing as regulated by the City Code. <br /> <br />Open and outdoor storage as an accessory use not to exceed 10% of <br />the property provided that: <br /> <br />Storage area is surfaced to control dust and subject to the <br />approval of the Zoning Administrator. <br /> <br />This use does not take up parking space or loading area as <br />required for conformity to this Chapter. <br /> <br />Printed 12/28/90 <br /> <br />Page 433 <br /> <br /> <br />
