SkY,
Dear Mr. Raatikka,

I recently ~ecleved a copy of the topography completed for the
above referenced proposal and was able to complete our review. Our
comments ~rel as follows:

1. Alth~ghla state protected wetland (2-658w) exists on the north
end of th9 p~operty, there is no mapped floodplain on the property
accordinglltoithe Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) map for
Ramsey. ,r

2. The P&rc~l does not lie within a shoreland land use district.

3. After making field inspections, and reviewing aerial photos
from seva;alI years and the topography supplied by Anderson Land
Surveying w~ have estimated the ordinary high water level (OB-W) of
wetland ~-658w to be'approximately elevation 860 feet (NGVD 1929).

4. An 0~ ~f 860' would make lots 23, 24, and 25 in Block 1
unbuildib]ie ~nd require the relocation of the road. Lots 14, 15,
22 and 2~ ~n iBlock 1 also contains a significant amount of wetland
2-658w. i '..A~ 1 ~and at or below the OHW is under DNR jurisdiction and
permits w~ul~ be required for any alterations to the basin. No
filling W~uld be allowed for the creation of upland.

5. The U.IS.
