Absent: Commissioners Bawden and Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Case #6: Forum on Farmland Preservation <br /> <br />Commissioner Thorud stated he was planning to attend the forum on February 12 regarding <br />farmland preservation. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer expressed his agitation with regard to City Attorney Goodrich's charge of <br />$4~80.00 for a definition of solid waste relating to Glen Rychner's request for a conditional use <br />permit, <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated the consultants have been asked to define exactly what they are <br />billing for. <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman inquired if Ramsey is the only City who charges for conditional use <br />permits. <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik stated she would check with other cities. She added that the City doesn't charge <br />arbitrary figures, only what the actual cost is to process a CUP. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Chairman Zimmerman to recommend that City <br />Council add a glossary of definitions with a reference showing each place the words are used in the <br />City Code. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
