** *All of the above listed amounts are equal to the amounts offered to all three bargaining <br />units. <br />Uniforms <br />The City will provide a monetary uniform stipend payable on the second payroll in March, 2015 <br />and 2016 to Public Works Maintenance Workers (not enrolled in the uniform service program), <br />Engineering Technicians, Building Maintenance Workers, Building Inspection Technicians, <br />Building Inspectors, Police Technicians, Crime Prevention Specialists, and the Community <br />Service Officers, as follows: <br />• The clothing stipend for Public Works Maintenance Workers who are not enrolled in the <br />uniform service program will be $393.75 annually. <br />o Public Works Maintenance Workers that elect to participate in the uniform <br />service program will not receive a clothing stipend. <br />• The clothing stipend for the Building Inspections Technician and Building Inspectors <br />will be $140.00 annually. <br />• The clothing stipend for the Police Technicians for Class C uniforms will be $140.00 <br />annually. <br />• The clothing stipend for the Crime Prevention Specialist and the Community Service <br />Officer for Class C uniforms will be $140.00 annually. <br />Seasonal Employees <br />Each division of Public Works (Parks, Streets, and Utilities), may employ up to two temporary <br />seasonals in each area per calendar year -- (no more than 6 in total) hirable at 80% of step one <br />Public Works Maintenance Worker wage scale, as AFSCME members, with no benefits, no <br />recall rights, and -- if hired as a regular employee, no time credited toward probation. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Riley, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Strommen <br />Councilmember LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Johns <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Tossey <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />Resolution #14 -12 -257 <br />Page 4 of 5 <br />
