COMMISSIqN ~ BUSINESS Case #1: ~isc~ssion Of Chapter 7 Entitled Taxation and Finances: Commissioner G~eenberg stated that he has discussed Chapter 7 with City Accountant Moen and he wo~uld like to discuss the following points of concern: a) Section 7.04.01 - Second sentence - 'provide complete financial plan' - In¢iud:',a~g all funds would make annual financial statement more complicated ar$d~ .:indrease the cost of audits and producing financial statements. Len~thy~ discussion ensued. Chairman Heitman noted that the section also sayS: ;'shall be in such form as Council may require'. Council will n~s,t k~kely take the accountant's advice as to the form required. ~.isS, ioner Sieber stated that trust funds belong to the City and should be ~e¢0rded.
