Motion by Co~u~issioner Hendricksen and seconed by Commissioner Deemer to recommend approval Of the conditional use permit for a private kennel for Mr. Jeffrey Porupsky,'con%ingent upon his entering into a conditional use permit agreement with the City. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Co~missioners K~nnen, Deemer, Zimmerman, ~en~ricksen and LaDue. Voting No: None. Absent: Co~u,Lissioner Schneider. Chairman Peterson informed Mr. Porupsky that his request for conditional use permit will be! on Council's agenda for December 22, 1983. Case #2: ~l.i~. ~twood Mills P.U.D.: Chairman Pmter~on stated that on Saturday, December 3, 1983, representatives of NDH~ Fllntw~Ood I, P & Z and City Staff met to resolve some of the problem areas of Flintwood II proposed P.U.D. Mr. Carsonlstated that the residents of Flintwood I requested that the density proposed il~ Fl,intwood II Phase I be reduced, a natural screening be provided between Fl~nt~wood I and Flintwood II, and that all buildings be under a homeowners association. ~ a result, NDH has the.following to offer: proposing 8 quads instead of~5 8-,unit buildins in Phase I, units being bu/lt at entrance of project will be ~f!the.~nore expensive type. Mr. ~alph ~ndXikeon - 5460 140th Lane - Stated that the buildings should be' more sprea~(m~t than what is proposed. ~uld prefer 6 quads instead of 8. Mr. Carsonlstated that it could be done if the tot lot was deleted from the plans. I Mr. Start Data!- 5510 140th Lane - Agreed with Mr. Hendrikson's suggestion for I more o~en SPa0e and would also like to see more landscaping. Flintwood I and II shoulama~h as much as possible. The transition from Flintwood I to Flintwood XI:~hould be ~rad11~!, the density lost in Phase I could be regained I in Phase IX. TMr- ]C~ta stated that Mr. Les Batman was unable to attend tonight's meeting ~x~ ~S requesting that P & Z consider not having a cul-de-sac feed into an MSA street and that he also prefers that Flintwood II be"developed i as single d~llings. Mr. Data stated that Mr. John Lichter is also unable to attend tonight's meeting and requests that it be made known that he would personal~beisatisfied with developing ~uad-t~pefunits. Mr. Data stated that Susan Belle iS unable to attend tonight's meeting and her view is that this I PUD would i~xing sewer and water into the City and she doesn't understand why it has ~[be.i:Mr. D~ta stated as his own view that he wonders if this develOl~tW~11 he able to pay it's o~nway. Ramsey's intent is to not overbuild the sytem.
