Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Co~missioners K~nnen, Deemer, <br />Zimmerman, ~en~ricksen and LaDue. Voting No: None. Absent: Co~u,Lissioner <br />Schneider. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson informed Mr. Porupsky that his request for conditional use <br />permit will be! on Council's agenda for December 22, 1983. <br /> <br />Case #2: ~l.i~. ~twood Mills P.U.D.: <br /> <br />Chairman Pmter~on stated that on Saturday, December 3, 1983, representatives <br />of NDH~ Fllntw~Ood I, P & Z and City Staff met to resolve some of the problem <br />areas of Flintwood II proposed P.U.D. <br /> <br />Mr. Carsonlstated that the residents of Flintwood I requested that the density <br />proposed il~ Fl,intwood II Phase I be reduced, a natural screening be provided <br />between Fl~nt~wood I and Flintwood II, and that all buildings be under a homeowners <br />association. ~ a result, NDH has the.following to offer: proposing 8 quads <br />instead of~5 8-,unit buildins in Phase I, units being bu/lt at entrance of project <br />will be ~f!the.~nore expensive type. <br /> <br />Mr. ~alph ~ndXikeon - 5460 140th Lane - Stated that the buildings should be' <br />more sprea~(m~t than what is proposed. ~uld prefer 6 quads instead of 8. <br /> <br />Mr. Carsonlstated that it could be done if the tot lot was deleted from the plans. <br /> <br />I <br /> Mr. Start Data!- 5510 140th Lane - Agreed with Mr. Hendrikson's suggestion for <br /> I more o~en SPa0e and would also like to see more landscaping. Flintwood I and <br /> II shoulama~h as much as possible. The transition from Flintwood I to <br /> Flintwood XI:~hould be ~rad11~!, the density lost in Phase I could be regained <br />I in Phase IX. TMr- ]C~ta stated that Mr. Les Batman was unable to attend tonight's <br /> meeting ~x~ ~S requesting that P & Z consider not having a cul-de-sac feed <br /> into an MSA street and that he also prefers that Flintwood II be"developed <br />i as single d~llings. Mr. Data stated that Mr. John Lichter is also unable to <br /> attend tonight's meeting and requests that it be made known that he would <br /> personal~beisatisfied with developing ~uad-t~pefunits. Mr. Data stated that <br /> Susan Belle iS unable to attend tonight's meeting and her view is that this <br />I PUD would i~xing sewer and water into the City and she doesn't understand why <br /> it has ~[be.i:Mr. D~ta stated as his own view that he wonders if this <br /> develOl~tW~11 he able to pay it's o~nway. Will we find ourselves in the <br /> same s~t~at~On that Shor~wood currently is in? <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated that he has researched the Shorewood situation and <br />Shorewood's original intent was to ha~ a lot more density in the sewered area <br />and for someFeason their zonir~g and develol~nent did not occur. Ramsey's <br />intent is to not overbuild the sytem. <br /> <br />Mr. Raat!kka ~tated that a trtu. k will not be constructed beyond the proposed <br />PUD; wells will be sized re'se=ye just that area and maybe the area across <br />the street and it i~ intenfed %.hat it ~ill more than pay it's own way.
