I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />A public hear%ng was held on Tuesday, January 10, 1984 at the Ramsey Municipal <br />Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota, regarding Flintwood Hills <br />Second Addition Planned Unity Development (P.U.D.). <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Also PreSent: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />Reporter Carolyn Thompson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Ga~ec called the public hearing to order at 8:01 p.m. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Dick Carson --Stated that the overall density requested is 327 units and <br />special meetings have been conducted with the residents of Flintwood I <br />regardinglden~ity of that portion of the PUD that borders Flintwood I. It <br />has been mutUally decided that 28 units will border the proposed MSA street. <br />The types.oflUnits to be constructed are still in the planning stages. <br />The develQPer is now requesting approval of the PUD project and density and <br />exact size and shape of the project will be determined on the final plat. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Susan Beale -' 14851 Sunfish Blvd. - Inquired as to Mr. Carson's role in this <br />project -- partner or employee? <br /> <br />Dick Carson 'i Replied that he is neither partner or employee; that he is <br />assisting the owner of the property in getting the property developed. <br /> <br />Brenda Bauer~emper - 6855 162nd Lane - If PUD approval is granted now, or <br />in the near future, is there another step at which Council has the option <br />to disal~prove? <br /> <br />Mayor Ga/nec - Replied that Council is considering advice obtained from <br />Flintwood I residents, there will be a contract involved, and if the <br />developerlmeets all the requirements of the ordinance, then the PUD can <br />be approved. If the developer deviates from the contract or ordinance, it <br />will open the issue up again. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich - If the PUD plan is approved, there will have to be <br />a public hea~ing process to obtain PUD zoning. <br /> <br />C/January 10, 1984 <br /> Public Hearing <br /> Page 1 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
