I Chapter:!4, Section 4.04 - ~e Co~ission accepted Mr. Dorn's recom~,endation to change the first sentenc~ of this section to read: 'The Council may by resolution ordek a~y special or advisory election deemed appropriate by the Council, fo~ ~ny !reason, and provide all means for holding it.' ~%s Commission also accepted Mr. Dorn's recommendation to delete the last· sentence in Section 4.04. .Ch~p~er~4, Section 4.05.04 - ~%e Comn~ission accepted Mr. Dorn's recommendation to reword the last sentenc~ as follows: 'In the case of a tie vote of the Council, the Mayor, 9r Acting Mayor if the office of Mayor be vacant, shall make the appointment from the candidates involved in the tie vote.' .Cha~er i5, Section 5.07 - The ~om~ission accepted Mr. Dorn's recommendation to delete the last two ~en~ences and replace with the following: 'If a majority of the vo~e~s ~oting thereon vote for the ordinance contained in the petition, it;s~al! take effect immediately upon certification of the election resultsiby the City Council.' Cha~eri6, Section 6.03 - Comntission action regarding Section 6.03 is as' follows: :S~stitute Section 6.03 with wording contained in Linc Lakes Charter Section 6.03 and replacing all references to 'Drdinance' with 'resolution'. Strike Sections 6.03.01 through 6.03.22 in the Ramsey charter dr~ft. CommisS!one~ Gamec dismissed himself from the meeting at this time. Motion by C~mmissioner Sieber and seconded by Commissioner Bauerkemper for a recess. Motion ~arried. Voting Yes: Chairman Heitman, Commissioners Sieber, Data, Buchanan, Ltchter, Bauerkemper and Greenberg. Voting No: None. Absent: CommisSioners Gamec and Titterud.
