This enclosure also contains a copy of the plan showing the <br />a~ea to ~e graded. <br /> <br />Mr.i Ar{~ Raudio has presented a topographic map to the City of his property <br />lytn'g east of State Trunk Highway ~47 and north of the Ramsey Development <br />Park. A large portion of that property is located in the floodway of the <br />Rum Ri~er. <br />Mr.i Ra~t~ dio is requesting that the City pass a resolution and submit his <br />t .opbgraphic map to the DNR requesting that approximately ten acres of <br />hi~ q~r°l~erty be taken out of the floodway and rezoned accordingly. Filling <br />overt aDproximately six acres of the area would be required to bring the <br />area above the 100 year flood elevation of $53. <br /> <br />In a meeting with the DNR, Ivtr. John Stein indicated that it is possible to <br />ro~ove,lthis area from the floodway provided that the filling does not. increase <br />the flO~d level by more than six inches and also that the filling does not <br />restrict! the channel flow. The DNR will do a study of the effects of filling <br /> I <br />thi~ area at the request of the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
