That the applicant appeared before the Planning and Zoning Commission for a public <br />hearing purSuan:l to the City Zoning Ordinance on Februa~' 7, 1984. That said public <br />bc, aring w!as pr~operl¥ adverlised and the minutes of that public hearing are hereby <br />m¢or[,orated by !reference. <br /> <br />3t T?~at thelstaridards for consideration are as follows: <br /> <br /> a) The property is zoned R-1 and this is not a permitted use. <br /> <br /> b} The iadjoining properties are residential dwellings located on approximately one <br />acre parcels. <br /> <br /> c) There ar~ no known similar authorized uses in the City. <br /> <br /> d) There will be no major changes in traffic flow to the area. <br /> <br /> e) Pr0p~ fly! operated, the wood sales (no pickup) will not affect the lifestyle of <br />the neighb0~ng!residents in a rural setting. Further, it should not affect the enjoyment <br />or value of properties in the vicinity. <br />4) That thei criteria for approval/disapproval are as follows: <br /> a) Thlti th~ applicant's request is to operate his business, the sale of firewood, at <br />his residence l~cated at 16020 Potassium Street NW, Ramsey, Minnesota 5530~ and <br />to keep at his r~sidence some firewood and his delivery trucks. <br /> <br /> b) Pr~rl.y.; stored, the sale of firewood should not be unsightly or undesirable <br />or obno~i~tls i~ appearance and not hinder the orderly and harmonious development <br />of the citF ~r al{strict where herein proposed. <br /> <br /> c) AdeqUat~ water supply and sewage disposal facilities will be provided. <br /> <br /> d) The fuse i win conform to the regulations of R-l, residential, zoning except that <br />a conditional us~ permit is required. <br /> <br />5) That the per[ormance standards are as follows: <br /> <br /> a) Fire i~prO~ection is provided by the City of Anoka, however, the sale of firewood <br />should not~ ~reate a fire hazard. <br /> <br /> b) EleCtrical disturbances are not applicable. <br /> <br /> c) Vibration will not be applicable. <br /> <br /> d) OdOr~ will not be applicable. <br /> <br />6) That the~ Cit;y of Ramsey reserves the right to inspect the premises if it should receive <br />complaints. ~ <br /> <br />7) That th, e applicant has brought his request to the City Council and they directed <br />the preparatio~ of findings of fact in accordance with Sections 170.016D, 170.016E, <br />and 170.016F o[ the Ramsey City Ordinance. <br /> <br /> <br />
