(Please refer to resolution file <br />for Resolution !984-11). <br /> <br />Motion carr~ed~ Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that today the Landfill Board, Anoka county and himself <br />will be havingia press interview with USA Newspapers. USA Newspapers is <br />conductin~ a S~udy and interviewing people in regards to the Landfill. One <br />issue to be~ discussed is the landfill lawsuit. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the purpose of this special Council meeting is to <br />inform co~lmembers of what will be said at the press interview and that is <br />to hold off making any statements until the Ramsey Council has made a decision <br />regarding ~he ~awsuit settlement, which is still in negotiations. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich s2ated that the settlement is contingent upon contents of a .- <br />lengthy c~tra~t and the conditional use permit for Waste Management.
