When it is complete, Staff will recommend <br />to CoUn~i~ and DNR the adoption of an ordinance and included will be the <br />wetlands classifications. The City will get the input from concerned citizens <br />at the Pu~li~ hearing to be conducted. <br /> <br />Councilme~be~ Schlueter brought up the subject of Environmental Assessment <br />Worksheets a~d stated that she does not feel an EAW would be necessary for <br />all sewer~an'd water projects coming into Ramsey but she would like to Planning <br />and Zoning r~quire an EAW in the PUD ordinance, based on need. If the State <br />requires an HAW, then it should also be incorporated in Ramsey's ordinance. <br /> <br />Mr. Sch~e~le ~eplied that it would be impossible to restate what the State <br />requires at a city level. <br /> <br />Councilmembe~ Sorteberg inquired as to why it would be more important to <br />require a~ F~W in the PUD ordinance than in the platting ordinance? <br /> <br />Council~ ~e~be~ Schlueter stated that if an EAW is required by State law, then <br />it should!be!on Ramsey's books also. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle istated that he would place on Planning and Zoning Commission <br />agenda discUSsion of including an EAW in the PUD ordinance. <br /> <br />Mayor Game¢ ~tated that there is a possibility of a new business coming into <br />Ramsey ~hat Will deal in recycling. <br /> <br />Motion by Codncilmember Sortebe~g and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner <br />to schedu~.e i~he next Council/Commission Chairperson/Staff workshop for <br />March 5, ~984 at 7:30 p.m. and reschedule the next regular Council meeting <br />from Ma~¢h 13, 1984 to March 12, 1984 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion ~arri~d. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schluet~rlan~ Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Co.dncilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />to adjo~r~ t~.is regular ~eeting of the Ramsey City Council. <br /> <br />Motion ca~riSd. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schluet~r~and Van Wagner.
