Barr Engineering specializes in solid waste
management and ground water studies and have worked for Anoka
Coun~! s~nce 1980 on a variety of solid waste management issues.
Mr. ~bhardt stated that in 1981 Barr Engineering prepared a
report to the County that recommended changes and improvements
to th~ g~ound water monitoring programs at the Anoka Landfill
as well as the other 3 landfills operating in the County. Barr
Engineering recommended additional wells and more extensive
testiB, g on water samples. That data was collected in 1982, 1983
and the ~arly part of 1984.
