Although the North 80 was not considered under <br />the MPCA intrinsic suitability study, the soils discussed in the <br />SWCD Memo~'oni the North 80 are similar to those in the South 70 <br />and the cOrem!ss ion finds that problems associated with such soils <br />do not rende~ the site unsuitable for use as a landfill provided <br />that a s~st~m of double liners and leachate collection system, <br />consistent ~ith final approvals and licenses of appropriate <br />governmen~aliunits, are installed. The wetland referenced in the <br />SWCD MemO i~ the southeast corner of the North 80 will not be <br />covered !By ~he fill activities. (See Drawing Nos. 1 and 2 <br />accompanYing!the Plans.)
