RAMSEY CITY CODE KNOWN AS OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, The following off(cial summary of Ordinance #'92-XX has been approved by the City Council of the City of R~seY~ as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance: It is the intelatiandieffect of Ordinance ~92-XX to update the Chapter in accordance with the City Charter and ~nn~sota Statutes regarding Council, Council Boards and Council Commissions and the manner i~ ~hi~h these Boards and Commissions conduct business activities including the order of business, !Organization of meetings, Commission and Board composition, duties and responsibilitie~ and rules and procedures. A printed cOPy o~ Ordinance #92-XX is available for inspection by any person at the Ramsey Municipal Ce~ten This Ordinanee becomes effective upon its passage and thirty (30) days after publication according to law. SECTION 2. I AMENDMENT Chapter 2 of tile C{ty Code is amended to read as follows: 2.01 City Council. 2.01.01 'Meetings. Subd. 1. Regular Meetings. Regular meetings of the City Council; shall be held on the se¢iond and fourth Tuesdays of each calendar month at 7:30 7:00 P.M. Any re~ulaz meetings f~lhng upon a legal hohday shall be held on the next following bus~ness day at the same nme arid- plwe. Ail meenngs shall be held at the Ramsey Mumc~pal Center, the Ramsey Elementary Sdhool~or such other public location as designated by the City Council. :SUl~d. 2. Special Meetings. Special meetings of the council may be called by the mayor ~r andy two members of the council by written notice filed with the City Clerk. Each council member Shall receive at least 24 hour notice of such meeting. If that council member cannot be f0uhd a! written notice of such meeting shall be left at the Council member's home. Special meetings r0ay be held without prior written notice or when all council members are present at the meeting~r c~nsent thereto in writing. Such consent shall be fried with the City Clerk prior to the beginning ~)f th'9 meeting. Any special meeting attended by all the council members shall be a valid meeting ~or tlje transaction of any business that may come before the meeting.
