I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br /> <br />7.61.05 CoBditions <br /> <br />'Die conduct of lawful charitable gambling under license issued by the Board shall be subject to the <br />following conditions in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br /> a. A copy of any lease agreement between a non-profit organization and a garnbling <br /> location owner or operator shall be filed with the City Administrator together with <br /> the gambling license application; <br /> <br /> b. The City Council may refuse to issue a charitable gambling license for a location in <br /> which gambling violations have previously occm'red, and the Council may refuse to <br /> issue a charitable gambling license to a non-profit organization which has <br /> reviously violated terms of this Ordinance and/or Minnesota Statutes, Chapter <br /> 49. <br /> <br />The maximum number of separate gambling locations that any one licensed <br />Orgarfizafion shall be permitted to operate within the City is three (3). <br /> <br />7.61.06 Investigation <br /> <br />Every organization which files an application for issuance or renewal of a charitable gambling <br />license shall deliver the application to the City Administrator. The City Administrator shall <br />investigate !each application and report any findings and recommendations to the City Council. <br /> <br />7.61.07 Filing of Records; Inspections; Access to Records <br /> <br />Subd. 1. <br /> <br />Every organization licensed to conduct charitable gambling in the CiD' of Ramsey shall <br />fie with the City Administrator copies of all records and reports required to be filed <br />wi.da the Board pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 349 and the rules and <br />regulations promulgated thereunder. The records and reports shall be filed in the <br />office of the City Aflminisrmtor to the Board on or before the day the,,, are required to <br />be fried with the Board; <br /> <br />Subd. 2. <br /> <br />Subd. 5. <br /> <br />EYeD, gambling event in the City of Ramsey conducted by an organ/cation under <br />Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 349 shall be open to inspection by officers of the Ramsey <br />PoLice I)epm tlizent; <br /> <br />The City Administrator or employees of me Poi/ce Department, at the direzfion of the <br />Ci~ Administrator, may inspect at any reasonable time, without notice or search <br />wan'ant, ail records of a licensed organization, including g~mbling account and other <br />bank mgm-ds r~mred bv the Board ro be roarer, amc,5 and ~ese~ed. <br /> <br />7.61.08 Fee <br /> <br />The CiD' will g. harge all new applicants the maximum investigation fee perrmrted by ,Minnesota <br />Statutes, C!aaP~r 349 in order to cover costs incurred investigating the application. Any unused <br />portion of this fee will be refunded to the applicanL This f~ does not apply to applications for <br />renewal of;licenses. <br /> <br />7.61.09 : Us~ of Charitable Gambling Net Profits <br /> <br />Any liconaed 0rgamzafion conducting lawful gambling within the CiD' shall be recmired to <br />conmbute ten ~rgent (10%) of its net r~rofits ~nved from iav~Su2 gambimg to a fl~d admmism'r~ <br />and re~mal~ed ~y me CiD' without cost ro such fund. Disb '~semenrs from fi-tis fund shall be for <br />lawful ptmposes as determined from rime to rime by Ci~' Council resolution.
