The fencing is proposed to be a minimum of 5 fec~ in height and will be constructed of 14 gauge <br />welded wire with a 2'x4" mesl~. Thc Horse Care Commission ha., recommended approval of the <br />conditional use permit for horses contingent upon the fencing being that which ,,,,'as proposed by <br />the applicant. <br /> <br />The accessory structure proposed to bo construcled measures 1200 square feet. This, in addition <br />to the size of the attached garage on the property, is in compliance with the total accessory structure <br />area allowed on a 2.3 acre parcel. The builfiing will be used to house the horses and horse related <br />equipment and supplies, personal equipmen:, and business supplies (Mr. Weinmann is a self- <br />employed flooring contractor). The Horse C:~e Commission has indicated that providing housing <br />for the animal in this structure is more than adequate. Their original building plans were for a <br />building with a height of 26 feet; the maximum height allowed by code is 22 feet; the Weinmanns <br />have agreed to revise the building plans in order to comply with the 22 foot height limit. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The Horse Care Board and the Planning Commission have recommended approval of the request <br />to maintain horses on the property. The Planning Commission has recommended denial of the <br />request to construct a metal accessory structure on the property. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Resolution 0<)2. 11-~ adopting Findings of Fact # relating to K. Weinmann's <br />request for a conditional use permit for horses and a metal accessory structure at 7903 <br />157th Avenue NAV. <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Resolution ~P92-1t-__ denying the request for a metal accessoo, structure and <br />approving K.
