ASSESSMENT AGREEMENT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into t-,y and between ANNA BCE, a single person, <br />hereinaher "LANDOWNER" arid the CI'I'Y OF RAMSEY, a municipal corporation, <br />hereinafter "CFi'",'" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the LANDOWNER owns a parcel of land located at 14920 Nowthen Boulevard <br />N.W. legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That pan of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 25, <br />Township 32 North, Range 25 West, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Commencing at the West Quarter comer of said Secuon 25; thence north 900 0 <br />minutes 0 seconds east along the southerly line of the Northwest Quarter, a distance <br />of 829.6 feet to the point of beginning; thence North 30=' .49 minutes 30 seconds <br />West a distance of 401.96 feet; thence North 87° 34 minutes 50 seconds east a <br />distance of 278,5 feet, more or less, to the centerline of CSAH 5; thence <br />southeasterly along the ccmefline of said CSAH 5, a distance of ,430.2 feet, more or <br />iess, to said southerly line of said Northwest Quarter, thence westerly along sa.id <br />southerly line a distance of 310.0 fee:, more or tess, to the point of beginning. The <br />above description is subjec~ to the Anoka Count).' right-of-way for CSAH 5. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the CITY has undertaken a public improvement project which caused the <br />extension of watermain becoming available to the LANDO~.rNER'S property: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the LANDOWNER desires to make a connection to said watermain: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, under CITY policy, the LANDOWNER is responsible for paying reasonable <br />costs associated with providing water sen, ice to the subject property. These costs are valued to ~ <br />$12/per foot wi~ a normal thirty percent (30%) overhead cost to cover en~neering inspection, <br />design, bonding, ieee2 and ingident~ costs. This unit cost apphed over the 430 feet of the <br />landowners property r~suits in a lateral behest of Six Thousand Seven Hundred and No/l(~0 <br />Dollars ($6,700.002: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. me CITY also r~uires a water trunk charge, cu~entiv Nine Hundred TnLm,-six <br />and No/100 DoI~-'s ($936.~03 for a sin~e fmm/2v residence: and <br /> <br />NO~' THEREFORE. IT IS AGREED BY AND BETWEEN THE PARTIES <br />HERETO AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />City to provide servig~ taps. The CITY shall cause the watermain to be tapped with <br />a one inch corp. oration stop an~ shall provide a one inch copper service to the <br />L.~NDOWN'ER'S propen').' line.
